Winter activities 

44 tracks and ski lifts are inviting you to the Jungfrau Region to enjoy the snow. The snow sport areas entail around 200 km of ski lopes with racy up to easy downswing rides from 6 - 12 km length. 


The mainly easy till intermediate runs are unlocked by the First gondola which is centrally located in the village center. Novice sporters as well as families can use a separate "easy ride zone" which is about 2 km. For snowboarder the trendy terrainpark Baergelegg near the Schreckfeld station will be inviting you for lots of snow fun. In the parks you can expect several maneuver like kickers, rails, steep wall curves, waves and dump mounting parts suitable for experts as well as novices. The superpipe at Schreckfeld station counts with a radius of 5,5 m since years as the biggest and best half pipes of Switzerland.

Kleine Scheidegg-Maennlichen

The largest snow sport area in the region possesses over 19 modern transport constructions and 110 km of the best  prepared runs. This area is reachable from Grindelwald and Wengen. Not just for ski cracks, also for leisure skiers and novices will find their enjoyment on the wide variety of ski runs in the Kleine Scheidegg-Maennlichen area. Numerous cozy mountain restaurants and bars will create this real winter feeling. In the Kleine Scheidegg you can also find the world famous Lauberhorn ski-run, a must for experiences ski- and snowboarders!


The snow sport area of Muerren-Schilthorn reaches to the almost 3000 meters high Schilthorn, with a for James-Bond-Fans well known revolving restaurant Piz Gloria. Muerren-Schilthorn is with its 1650 - 3000 meters above sea level the highest located winter sport area of the Bernese Oberland and guarantees optimal snow conditions up till spring. 53 kilometers of ski runs and 12 lift transports combined with the breath taking surroundings will rush the heart beat of the real winter sport fan. For the ones who can not get enough of the panoramic view, can also try the 12 km long black Inferno run, challenging 2000 meters in altitude difference on the way to Lauterbrunnen. Freerider will be impressed by the 30 till 45 degree steep powder run and families scrimmage to the sunny Allmendhubel.
