It’s been a while since there was a new, fresh and serious ska-punk band in Switzerland. During the coronavirus crisis in 2020, four musicians with different musical backgrounds came together to breathe new life into this probably most danceable of all forms of rock music.
The patSKAts play ska punk exactly the way it should be played. Sometimes fast and hard, sometimes easy and smooth. In addition to their own songs, the four guys also perform covers of bands such as Rancid, The Interrupters, the Mad Caddies and Toots & The Maytals, as well as their own versions of Billie Eilish, ABBA and punk legends such as The Ramones and Green Day. Whether covers or originals, patSKAts won’t let a dancing leg rest!
