The origins of Castell Perelada date back to 1923, when the manufacturer Miquel Mateu Pla from Barcelona acquired the castle of Peralada. He was going to use the traditional wine production of the Carmelite monks. Since this the company lives in a process of growth and development.
At present it plants 150 hectares in 5 farms in Peralada, Garriguella, Pont de Moins, Colera and Espolla. The company Castillo Peralada is a pioneer of the Oenology Tourism in Catalonia. Look forward to exciting background information of Castillo Peralada with David Rovira and Ed de Wagenaar from the Münsterkellerei with an exquisite 4-course menu with selected wines of Castillo Peralada.
